The cache is a set of temporary files that your installed apps create during normal function. These cache files efficiently serve your apps with the data they require. However, these cache files sometimes get corrupted, and as a result, your apps suffer from various issues.

On the main screen, select the “Settings” option (a gear icon).

In the “Settings” menu, select “Applications.”

From the options on the “Applications” page, choose “Manage Installed Applications.”

You will now see a list of apps you have installed on your Fire TV device. Here, select the app in which you are experiencing problems. You will clear this selected app’s cache.

On the app’s page that opens, select “Clear Cache.”

Your selected app’s cache files are successfully removed. To clear other apps’ cache, repeat the above process for each app, and you will be all set.
