Sometimes you want to be able to quickly access a website, without the big clunky desktop optimized interface. Treb allows you to do this by pinning mobile websites to the system tray for easy access. Here’s how to use it.
Head over to the developer’s website and download treb. Once the download has completed, unzip it.
Once unzipped find the treb.exe file and double click to launch it.
Once running it will appear in the system tray. Right click and select configure to get started with selecting which web apps you would like.
You can grab a bunch of preconfigured trebs from here. To import them simply click the import button and browse for them.
Once you have imported a treb, an icon will immediately appear in the system tray, click on it to bring up the web app.
You could also make your own trebs, by clicking new instead of import.
Now I can quickly access the iPhone version of How-To Geek.
It supports the Nokia, iPhone and Android user agents.
